Fees, Rates & Conversion Logic
Understanding how fees and exchange rates work helps you price correctly and know exactly what you will receive. This guide covers Dynopay's transaction fees, how rates are locked, and how the final amount is calculated.
Transaction fees
Dynopay charges a simple percentage fee per successful transaction. Fees start at 1.5% and decrease as your processing volume grows, dropping as low as 0.5% for high-volume merchants. Your first payment is free so you can test the full flow at no cost.
Network fees
Separate from Dynopay's fee, every blockchain charges its own network (gas) fee to move funds. This fee goes to the network, not to Dynopay, and varies by network and congestion. Choosing an efficient network keeps these costs low for you and your customers.
How exchange rates are applied
- When you price in a fiat currency, Dynopay converts the amount to the chosen crypto using a live market rate at checkout.
- The rate is shown to the customer so they know exactly how much crypto to send.
- Paying in a stablecoin keeps the received amount close to the invoiced amount, avoiding volatility.
What you actually receive
The amount credited to your wallet is the payment amount minus the applicable Dynopay fee. Because Dynopay is non-custodial, settled crypto is yours immediately — there is no waiting period imposed by Dynopay before you can use it.
